Cautions! How to connect Autel IM608, Xp400, J2534 and vehicle correctly?
Cautions when using Autel MaxiIM IM608, XP400 and J2534 to perform key programming. Here are the correct way and wrong display when connecting Autel IM608, Xp400, J2534, and vehicle.
Correct Way:
- Use J2534 VCI for the vehicle connected with the main OBDII cable and on the end of it connect to the IM608 tablet via Bluetooth or USB cable.
- XP400 key programmer can be connected to the IM608 tablet via USB cable and on the end of it connected to key simulator such as APB102, APA104, APA105, APA106...
Do NOT Connect The XP400 to Vehicle Directly
Do not connect the xp400 to the vehicle directly. The DB26-PIN port is connected with the Mercedes Benz infrared cable, vehicle key cable. ECU cable, MCU cable, or MC9S12 cable.
